EDGE

Education Designed to Give Experience.

#1

Intro. to EDGE

Each and every SUU student plans a special project that is designed to help them achieve a unique personal or professional goal. They can select from a variety of experiential programs offered by SUU staff and faculty, or they can design a project from scratch. In the first EDGE class you will be introduced to different examples of projects and the many resources available to use to complete your project.

#2

Proposal & Planning

Once you declare your project, you will choose a track that fits the criteria for your project. Once in the class that best suits your project, you will begin the planning and proposal process. This isa supervised group discussion designed to catch flaws early on, and to give helpful feedback before you actually begin your project. Once you complete this class, you are free to get started on your project!

#3

Reflection & Reporting

This is the last step of the process! Once you are completely finished with your EDGE project, you will wrap up by verifying the project, and writing reports in various formats and mediums, to a variety of audiences. You also update and upgrade your professional documents such as cover letters, resumes, portfolios, and even a LinkedIn profile. This is meant to clean up the project, so you can confidently present it to future grad schools, internships, and/or employers.
